The majority of permanent exclusions are for persistent disruptive behaviour according to the DFE, (2021). If all schools would publish the report types and the duration of time on these reports then intervention could prevent exclusions. Advocacy for parents should be sought wherever possible. Do we know if our parents understand what is expected from them? Do they understand the disciplinary system in your school?

With more and more demand being placed on educational professionals to attend multi-agency meetings this document helps assess student composition. Developed with work alongside social services, I have used this document to assist teachers to see past just academic profiling.
